Discover the Best Restaurants in Switzerland: 2024 Guest Awards Revealed!

The latest Guest Awards by Lunchgate have revealed the best restaurants in Switzerland for 2024. Stiva Veglia in Graubünden has been named the best restaurant in the country. To win this award, a restaurant needs to have a high average rating from guests. Stiva Veglia faced tough competition this year, with six other restaurants also earning top ratings.

Speaking to 20 Minuten, head chef Tino Zimmermann said the award is a confirmation of their team’s hard work. He believes people love the restaurant because of its local dishes and freshly baked bread.

For the first time, a restaurant from Appenzell, Gasthof Bären, made it to the top three. Guests praised its stunning mountain views from outdoor tables under a 100-year-old Linden tree. Last year’s winner, Bluemä, took third place for its fresh regional food and the warmth of its hosts, Caroline and Michael Rohrer.
