PostFinance Ventures into Fragrance Industry with Le Crypt Eau de Parfum
PostFinance, the bank linked with the Swiss postal service, has surprised the world with a new perfume infused with the essence of cryptocurrency. Named Le Crypt Eau de Parfum, this fragrance is currently available at no cost in branches across Swiss cities and cantons.
In an unexpected move, PostFinance announced its entry into the perfume market with Le Crypt Eau de Parfum, a departure from its usual offerings like mortgages and savings accounts. Unlike typical perfumes inspired by nature or celebrity glamour, Le Crypt is designed to reflect the ethos of cryptocurrency and the core values of PostFinance.
To capture the elusive scent of cryptocurrency, which exists only in digital form, PostFinance turned to artificial intelligence (AI). Rather than mimicking the atmosphere of Bitcoin gatherings or tech hubs, the AI recommended a fragrance with a “silver tone” incorporating coriander, bergamot, mint, and lavender.
Renowned perfume creator Uwe Manasse explained the symbolism behind each ingredient on the PostFinance website. The “silver tone” represents the concept of currency, coriander evokes the clarity of banknotes, and lavender symbolizes the trust and security associated with PostFinance.
After meticulous adjustments, Manasse proudly introduced Le Crypt Eau de Parfum as a fragrance finely crafted from the AI’s guidance. Describing it as “crypto for your nose,” he emphasized its unique connection to the digital era.
For those intrigued by the scent of the future, PostFinance has confirmed the distribution of 1,000 bottles of Le Crypt Eau de Parfum for free at select branches.
