Swiss Airlines Announces More Flights for Summer 2024
SWISS and Edelweiss Air, two major Swiss airlines, have shared exciting news about their plans for the summer of 2024. They are introducing new routes and expanding existing ones, making it easier for travelers to explore various destinations.
SWISS Unveils Enhanced Summer Timetable
More Flights from Switzerland
From March 31 to October 26, 2024, SWISS will increase the number of flights to and from Switzerland. The airline aims to connect passengers to 113 destinations from Zurich and 44 from Geneva. Notably, a new route from Geneva to Oslo is set to be introduced, offering travelers the chance to experience Norway’s captivating capital.
Expanded Holiday Flights
SWISS is extending connections between Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Geneva into the summer season. Additionally, more flights are planned for popular Mediterranean and European destinations like Athens, Brindisi, Brussels, Catania, Málaga, Palma, and Valencia. Zurich residents can also enjoy extended summer flights to Bremen, new routes to Cluj-Napoca and Košice, and increased services to Alicante, Madrid, Naples, Venice, and Vilnius.
Edelweiss Air Expands Services from Zurich
Edelweiss Air, the sister company of SWISS, is also expanding its services significantly. Starting from April 2024, the airline will operate flights to 93 destinations from its base in Zurich, including new routes to the Canary Islands and Spain. Weekly flights to various destinations, such as Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Menorca, and Santiago de Compostela, are part of the expanded summer schedule.
Edelweiss Air is also offering more options for those seeking northern destinations, with increased flights to Edinburgh, Newquay, Iceland (Keflavík and Akureyri), and Norway (Evenes and the Lofoten Islands).
In addition to the mentioned destinations, Edelweiss Air is strengthening its flight schedules to various European countries, including France, Greece, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey, Italy, and Kosovo.
